The Other Path

My skin
chilled to the bone
my heart melting like the snowflakes on my palm
crying out for love,
attention,
anything,
someone who feels cold
who has regrets
a past
who knows the feeling of warmth,
of life,
of hope,
but chooses the other path

Courtney, nice way of taking other choices... enjoyed your concept of who and what you feel...p.d.
