there … is an Other … an oppressive weight that balances - entropy demands it as does all that is precious and estimable the bright of the day demands it the surety of each heart thrum the value of life and love and kindness demands it … each moment given to care each tender tear let in passion's stead every wild and wondered thing depends on its sacred depth and darkening we dare not breathe its ancient name yet without it, all is valueless - without it, all is ruin … its lack would ensure far worse than doom for even doom, the echo of hope, has a bearing indifference and apathy would flood its absence and all that's exemplary would forsake worth no shine or lilt or ebullience would remain even the sweet belly laughs of children would be drained of their joy and life itself, its import and motive indeed … there is an Other - patient and rooted as the heavens and far, far more more eternal … but beware its eager arms and sweeter … kiss.
