Ha I’m not sure, but It’s really more a question of which pedal did he put his foot down on Stan, cheers David

Our life's journey, how we invest in it matters, there is always some moral or immoral element to answer to. Puzzling. Cheers & welcome back, David!

I think you’re right they should never be sidestepped, and met head on at every opportunity!

Some say ignore the devil, spirits and voices in our heads, what if they are us in other parallels, wellness gurus tell us to meditate on them and let it pass, not bad advice. Fact is they do exist! Put the peddle to the metal!

Heya Anaya, life is never straightforward is it, afterlife is even more complex, Do we attain salvation for ignoring the (devil) or should we try run him over, and save ourselves, do we even know the answer? Cheers David

Deep thoughts in this poem. There are many who live in hell, but God loves all, and repentance will take us up not down.

I agree many do live in hell, some even create their own hell, more than a few ways of looking at this one, cheers David

Hello David, What a profound reflection on the journey through life's trials and temptations. It wonderfully speaks to the courage to veer from the path of darkness, even in uncertainty. Your words are filled with a powerful truth about our choices and the roads we travel. A very thought-provoking verse my friend. - Blessings, Daniel

Good to hear from you Daniel, and even better to hear your eloquent appraisal as always, I purposely left the last line a little ambiguous, did the driver put his foot down to get away from the devil, or try run him over? I believe man is tested by choice in life, most of the time straightforward, but every so often very difficult mortal decisions need to be made, hopefully whichever road we take is the right one, thanks again, cheers David
