Notes About The Poem

TAKE THE COLOR CODE TEST (it's fascinating and very true):

WHAT THE COLORS MEAN:

http://community.tncc.edu/faculty/dollieslager/colorcodepdf.pdf

This is not your standard Facebook kind of test. It's not about colors. The colors are just titles for personality types. There are negative and positive characteristics for each color but a person does not necessarily have many of the negative qualities in his color. In my colors, for example, I have laziness and indecisiveness. Those are very true for me!

The Opposite Colors of Me and You

(Anacreontic Verse) My color is white - white like a dove seeking peace. A second color flutters near me. It’s the yellow of a canary that sings in the sun. Basking in light, it’s looking for fun. Your color is red - red like a fire, a fire that crackles and sometimes explodes. The cool hue of blue is following you - cool like the sea. Sometimes your blue swallows the red before you are wholly consumed. You can’t understand the colors I am though yours I try hard to comprehend. Burn with your red, but I’ll softly coo. Then cry your blue tears. In the sunshine I will keep singing. This poem is based on a personality test (used by professionals) called The Hartman Color Code. We are born with a personality, which according to the man who devised this test, can draw certain people to us. In the case of my marriage, it was "opposites attract." To know more about this test, see the "more about" box above.

Great test - I was all white, twice, Tim is pure red. Can you put this creative write in the color contest too? It certainly hits the mark. An entertaining read, to be sure ... CayCay

You have done something very original with colors here,Andrea.Sometimes I wonder what is the origin of colors, but don't mind me,I am one troubled being trying to find the source of everything and anything.lol.
