The Open Road

Got a one way ticket in my pocket
To an unknown destination
I’m going down a one way road
With a guitar and couple blank pages

I’m going down, down
The open road
I’m going down

My reflection shines onto the window
As the moon shines his halo light
The open road talks to me
With the wind blowing her murky voice

I’m going down, down
The open road
Eagle’s soaring in the sky
Bikes roaming gaining road
The road’s the only place to be
I’m going down

Sleeping next to a blazing fire
Its smoky blanket warms me
The stars my night light in the sky
And the road my companion
