The title alone is a poem unto itself Maureen, that's what brought me here to read. But the poem itself truly is wonderful. My mind is going all kinds if places with your simple/complicated word choices. This poem is fantastic Maureen. I really mean this. I glad I found it. I think I just need to have the time and would live to start at your first PoetrySoup submission and read every one of them!!!!!!!

Fragrance may differ, but I'm yet to see a poem that stinks, but that is not the point, your poem has subtle fragrance amd it grows on you.

As for me, I'd rather be red-headed than dead-headed. (I am a red-head, actually, although my hair turned much darker at age 27, a couple of years back.) That way, I don't stink either!! LOL. Good one, Maureen. :)
