The One of Us

I can’t marry me, I’m not my type
I can’t be swayed by my own hype
I like to stay in bed like me
I like the same things on TV
But if we wed it might go wrong
For I and me might not get on

Beyond cute AND funny! Just love it. Tickle my ribs and my funnybone, will you?! Way to go, Terry. You are one terrifically funny guy!! Thanks, Gershon

I’d imagined this poem would be longer… but i just liked it as it was. Glad you did too. Terry

I’m one of those people who often plays the same album over and over in the car. Today I let it switch to disc two and a song by Sparks came on called ‘I Married Myself’… well I just had to be all ‘au contraire’. Terry
