The One
I met her today i finally found the one
she brightens up my day like the sun
my heart reaches out to her
in my mind she can do no wrong
Today i have a new song
i sing it aloud in the streets
a smile on my face to everyone i meet
she lifts my spirits like the wind
she comforts me like a mother
today i need no other
she is my friend my lover my confidant
i met her today and all my yesterday heartaches faded away
i glide upon wings like an eagle
i am flying high
with one swipe of her hand she wiped the tears from my eye
i met her today i finally found the one
