The One
when my eyes glanced into hers desire filled my lonely heart like never before
from that moment on I yearned to see her once more
hoping my eyes wouldn't deceive me, her beauty was so rich and in my plain view
It only took but a mere conversation and I sincerely knew
there was never going to be another who could make me feel the way she did
this almost obsession i feel rejuvenated my soul, I felt like a kid
I needed her more than the air that fueled my lungs
night after night i played the same old sad song
she was blessed with gift of taking my comfortless heart and making it feel loved
this mysterious girl is more than what appears, she is something from the heavens above
and i can't live without her,i must get her back where she once was
I gave her everything inside of me because that's what love does
is she the one or am i only driven by infatuation?
all i know is if she ever needed a hand in love, she'd have my heart's participation
