The One.

?You were always the one I could count on.
The one who held my hand and wiped away my tears.
The one who would drive 45 minutes a day to make sure I was ok.
You were always the one who fought off my demons with you silver sword.
The one who held me at night.
The one who whispered I love you in the middle of a fight.
And you were always the one that was there.

But now I must use a tissue,
and hold myself together.
Now my demons seem to take over.
And at nights I hold a teddy,
I don’t seem to hear those words anymore,
because you suddenly disappeared.
