The One

People don’t fall in love anymore
Just because we don’t want to,
Wait for sparks no more.
We are simply in a constant rush
To be with someone who,
Means nothing more than a crush.
Call me a hopeless romantic
And this just aint being dramatic.
But I believe in falling in love.
Finding the only right one
Who will make sure you are above.
The one who brings you the sun
When everything is falling down.
And eventually people will be tired
Being with someone new in town.
With every flirting technique tried,
You’ll find no one can fill the gap
Of the person who is the one.
Love after all is just a sudden tap
Catch before it’s gone.

Do keep waiting for the one, true love. It is worth the wait! So many people are in and out of relationships that don't matter....which only causes pain and failure. I believe in the theory of friends first....then lovers. How can you love someone who you wouldn't be friends with? It will happen for you, you have a beautiful heart. ~ Carrie
