The Older I Get

The older I get, the slower I have got My bones are afflicted with arthritis, My elbows are getting very creaky Whenever I point with my finger, It is hard to tell in what direction More and more I am prone to linger, Honestly, I am not trying to be cheeky, I talk like I am suffering from laryngitis I could tell lots more, but I’d better not.

I try to not focus on my ailments either, for when I do I find more of them. so this made sense to me: "I could tell lots more, but I’d better not"

So true, Caren. I go to bed aching; I get up aching. I'm getting rather used to aching....

Much truth to it, Anselmo. Doctors kept saying, "Why are you still here?" And I respond "because I am in charge of my body, and I take care of it like a well-oiled machine." So much is in the mind, friend.

One way to look at it, I guess... I'll bet that you are more serene though! ~ Cosmic Karma

Getting on in years sucks big time, everyday you discover a new ache lol But we have experience and wisdom I remember my brother saying when you get to 40 bits start dropping off and I laughed at him. Have a lovely weekend Milton. Tom
