Stray Cat Visiting? What Does It Mean And What Should You Do? | Home & Roost

"the idea that some lives matter less is
the root of all that is wrong with the world."

The Old Woman and The Cat

the old woman lives alone
she has pains in every bone
with no family, no friend
she struggles waiting for the end
one day a stray cat came to her door
and she told it to "get away" with a roar
but the old cat kept coming back and back
so, she began to soften and gave it a snack
soon, she expect and wanted the cat
stroking his dirty fur as she sat
it purred and rubbed against her
then, she brought him in stroking his fur
she fed him, gave him water, and gave him a bath
and that gesture of love opened up a new path
the old lady is not alone anymore
for her love for this sweet old cat does pour and pour
is it fairy dust ?
must be ... for disgust turned into their loving trust

Congratulations on your win. WOW!!! What a lovely/wonderful~ story/write/cute cat picture. Love It... Many years ago when we moved into a house a cat showed up there. She would not leave. One day I gave her tuna from the can. She was in mine. To the store to buy cat food... Have a blessed day/week..................

What is it with ladies and cats? Must be the affection they offer. Nicely told.

TS, thank you so much for the comment, it is true many ladies like cats but so do lots of men. Cats like dogs are great companions, and thanks for the compliment, blessings, Constance

Your The poem radiates warmth and tenderness, showcasing how a simple act of kindness can turn disgust into a bond of loving trust. It's a testament to the magic of compassion and connection, perhaps a sprinkle of fairy dust that brings solace and companionship to the once lonely old woman...
