The Old Truck

A special place was made for the old red Mack
Right out front of the house with its shiny stack
It earned this space
It paid for this place
Forty years from Ohio to the east and back

Hello James, you’ve got a real knack for that dusty, boots-on-the-ground voice, the poem feels lived-in, like it came straight off the trail. I always enjoy the grit and swagger you bring. Blessings, Daniel
