The Old Sailor
He has lived his life on the sea,
He has gone on several voyages,
Adventurous and death defying ones,
Nights and days on turbulent seas,
Shipwrecked on islands,
Escaped the swords of vile men,
Discovered lost islands and treasures,
Battled mysterious creatures,
Gone through mystical timelines,
Separated severally from his family,
Came back from a long voyage,
Met an estranged wife and withdrawn children,
This redefined his itinerary,
It changed his course,
Honoured for his unparalleled discoveries,
Awarded for his unflinching courage,
His bravery took him
through other worlds and back.
