The Old Mermaid Was Ill. (The Ill Mermaid)

She has scattered hair along the coast.

The wind cried like little boy,

The willow had bent over her sadly.

Tired wrinkles are on the mermaid's face;

Pain - melancholy in her eyes.

In the sky the stars are ringing

like handbells.

The mermaid lies on the grass

near the edge of a coastal forest.

The seagulls shouted anxiously

and waves sang a silent song.
