The Old Lady's Tale - Hlm

In the countryside,
She dwelt with her little friend,
Bonded and stitched through.

This old lady from Pittsburgh,
Had her favourite chair infested with bugs,
She was sore displeased,
But her worry eased,
When she found something under the rug.

a parcel that changed the tide of events – a harbinger of a new dawn.

Thompson, I like your poem. Unfortunately, line 1 in your limerick did not rhyme with lines 2 and 5 so I gave you an HM. Thanks for entering. All the best...Charlie
