The Old Clogs

The old clogs
Retreating
From outdoor
To be worn
Only
In a bathroom
Make a loud nouse
As though crying
At the shoes' revolution
Of the young generation
Sometimes a clumsy old man resembles
The old clogs
Grumbling loudly and helplessly
At the young generation
For any differences
In life style or ideology

Ha, ha, ha, ha! That's exactly how I feel sometimes -- like an old pair of clogs, clogging the way in front of the younger generation(s). Spot-on, Sai Lin. Smiles, Gershon
