The Old Clock Ticks

The old clock ticks
In the silence
Of an empty room

A laborious
Tick…tick….tick
An almost unheard
Meshing of its gears

It loses
A few minutes a week
I reset it

Wishing
That I could regain
Those
           ….lost
                      ……minutes
