The Odd Couple

There was a little girl that never quite seemed to fit in
out of step with a world that seemed to her full of sin

No matter what she did or tried there always was a gap
that seemed to grow even when she sat on her dads lap

Time passed by with little change except that she was alone
every one else appeared to have a special some one

One day the sun shone so brightly and flowers scented the land
it seemed a day full of expectation while softly played the band

Through the door stepped a man who also didn't quite fit in
yet at the same time it was apparent he was without sin

I like this one. There is much humility in the lines, Not fitting in is not that unusual at all))) Especially if you are full out to be you. Or,,,,if others make you feel less! A man without sin…sounds heavenly Pangie

Dear Shadow, I just loved how the imagery of the little girl's journey and the arrival of the man who also feels out of place is poignant. Sometimes, connection comes in unexpected forms, offering solace and understanding. - Blessings, my friend! - Daniel
