The Ocean

The ocean What a lonely place to be Men, women and children even Crowding on a boat Drifting through the wet unknown Risking their lives on worn out wood Having no room to move Floating in the summer heat Burning in the white rays Worrying about the future to come Not having eaten in days Drinking only stale water The ocean – what a scary place to be When you have no-where to go
