The Obvious Truth

Searching hearts, seeking in the ebony,
For an escape, a way into the light.
Caring only for themselves and money,
They run in circles in a pointless fight.

They're blind to the answer in front of them.
He gave us His Word, He gave us his earth,
Every soul saved is a flawless gem.
There is no way to measure what he's worth.

Open your eyes, see the obvious truth;
The proof is in the nature all around.
Whether you are old or still in your youth,
It's not too late to make, for Him, a sound.

How right you are! People all over the world seeking "Truth" and a purpose for life, yet they refuse to accept God's truth. Great write, Emily! Love, Kim
