The Nurses Who Roam the Halls
She roams the halls at night,
Taking care of us.
She is only but a nurse,
But she is an angel,
She is a hero.
She has those kind eyes,
A special touch,
A golden smile,
And she is the keeper of our hearts.
The moon protects her,
The sun welcomes her while hiding her halo,
For those of us who are not privileged,
To know of her superpower.
She is the Goddess of Good Health,
Many call her Hygeia,
But we simply call her nurse.
She heals us,
She cures some,
She loses a few,
And it breaks her heart....
So this is why all nurses roam the Halls.
