The Now Continuum
If we must kneel, let not our hearts be blind,
To creeds that chain the soul in ancient lore;
Let senses guide where dogmas leave us poor,
And truth be sought beyond what’s left behind.
No longer shall we fear the wrathful skies,
Nor bow to idols forged in ages past;
The present calls, its voice both clear and vast,
To break the yoke where silent sorrow lies.
O kin of thought, arise and cast away
The shrouds that veil the light within our reach;
Embrace the now, let intuition teach,
And find the sacred in the breath of day.
Though temples fall and scriptures turn to dust,
The living moment is our only trust.
