The Novel Knight

She was a maiden in distress,
He was a knight who lived nearby.

His appearance brightened her day,
The maiden was blessed to have him in her life.

God sends us blessings when we least expect them,
He rescued her from a kingdom of silence.

A companion she could rely on,
Prince in disguise,

He would weave his story each day,
Bless her presence.

Hence the novel knight,
A companion from the giant stage.
