The North Bay Cottage

The North Bay cottage, a place to remember,
A beautiful cottage by the lake.

Traditionally built,
With an old fashioned stove.

Our mother would cook delicious food,
Father would bring fire wood to warm the cottage.

I would go for walks along the sandy beach,
You could walk in the water for miles because it was very shallow.

You could also go for a swim,
Our parents taught us how to swim at a young age.

This is a beautiful place to holiday,
We enjoyed our stay at our cottage.

0ur brother Tom would stay with his friend,
Whose father was a scout leader.

The fresh air and scenery was excellent,
What a good way to spend your summer.
