The Nomads End
I move from place to place
Never settling
As I'm just about adjusted
We're on the go again
I'm a military spouse
Standing tall and true
Gaining strength with each passing day
Making new friends along the way
Always finding new ways to tell the kids about the end of our stay
Drying their tears as they lay
Gaining wisdom from what i learn
But
Theres no medal for me to earn
Standing behind the member
Doing what has to be done
Theres a postcard i one day will send
like the sign on my beach house that will read
"The nomads End"
