Hi Frederick, Congratulations for your win on your fire theme poem. Your words create a very relaxing feeling of being by the fireside, watching the flames and fireflies. Sandra

ooh, I love the fireflies at the end there. A romantic touch! I need to study up on this contest. Nette's contests inspire such beautiful writing.

Such a beautiful poem, Frederic. You brought the fire into reality with your remarkable descriptions. Love the way you end it too, comparing the "visual" to fireflies. I haven't seen this contest, but the quality of this poem stands on its own. (Jameis Winston is giving me heart attacks - slow starts, strong finishes.) Hope you are all set to enjoy a happy Thanksgiving! Love, Carolyn
