The Night I Drowned
He, the lighthouse beacon
keeping harm at bay
I, the wind tossed ship
in a violent storm near the quay
Lightning flashed, his strobe dimmed
On jagged rocks I ran aground
Flotsam floating from the wreckage
the tragic night I drowned
