The Night

To fear the night,
is to fear what lies there.
The night only scares part of me,
the other craves it.
I fear what I can't see,
but feel sheltered by the closness of it.
I know what can be there,
and only the evil of it frightens me.
But to be part of it,
That is my dream.
For the dark is nothing to fear,
if your a part of it.

I am spending my morning reading wonderful poetry and enjoying it so much. I am so impressed with the poems I have read so far this morning. I am happy yours was among them Kassandra. I wish you the best in your writing endeavors always. Love, Carol
