The New Sudan
Faces were polished
With sweat as they abolished
The dictatorial rule that demolished
Citizens who were diminished
And civil rights-famished
Cars were fully loaded
Buses were boarded
Streets were loaded
With protestors who plodded
For Spicy Freedom to be unfolded
Brave men chanted
Courageous women ululated
The whole Sudan celebrated
The forever awaited
Moment was now harvested
You should have seen their faces
As they fought with no menaces
As they shared food from their cases
With the army protecting the civilian races
As the mother fastened her daughter's shoelaces
And inspired her to remain unmoved in the protest places
All
With one goal
For the oppressors to fall
For Allah to answer their call
For freedom to reign once and for all
May Africa take this as an example
May Allah protect Sudan and her people
From all kinds of evil
