The New Roar

The war on women is half the reason we are in this mess,*
our earth systems failing our societal descent, as men
divide and conquer women gather and tend. Our garden
set for reaping and a great divide to mend.

                 the brand the new roar
          roaring twenties women rocking~

                     a rolling no more

*Religion offers a palpable sense of peace and purpose
and however God exists religion itself is a man made
construct too often used to control women.

When I lost my faith in Catholicism, I didn’t lose God,
I fell more in love with my world.

Wow powerful penning Super Mo, I try to point out these inequalities in many of my poems, women are controlled all over this world by religion that is corrupted by men, brilliant work, cheers David

AMEN Maureen!!! Not a(man), though I am one, I was raised not to raze. Brought up to respect THE MOTHER from a long line of Italiano Stregas. I take this poem to mind; heart, and soul. Can never thanks you enough for writing this one Maureen. BUT, thank you.

All religions are just businesses using divine excuses to separate people from their property, and they all know it is easier for women "to lend an helping hand" than greedy old men! But, in the end, every woman has something men want, so use it wisely! Aloha! Rico

Shame Maureen that in some countries especially in the middle east we see evidence of it. Tom
