The New Girl In the City

As night covered skies
she stepped out quiet.
to that new city where
she live a decade
her stamps on ground
had lit side lights
the whole city glowed up right
to welcome the new girl's night
she ran in joy to mass and crowd
she was never let out
but now she choose out
the gentle breeze had patted her hair
she walk long away
to that city unknown to her.
the mind was at peace
for the city at her peaks
the ruler of the night
but the slave in mornings
why let not I find the
glory of that city
but beauty really shines
 with scents of freedom around.
I was born with no feathers nor wings
so I mended one to fly above
the new city touched my soul
its streets hid my grieves
for i am the new girl is this city
and tomorrow I have got
a new night in this city

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
