The need you feel

Sorry may've come too late to explain (for my part) and for all that I'm to blame. I left and stayed away too long.. between us, you never were the same. Your friends, always ever by your side, warn tell you that you're strong and better without. Tho' they weren't there when you were born. I was so young and scared, barely qualified to take on a new life. Catch you lookin' up at the skies from time to time.. wondering if you were loved daughter of mine. Rainin' showering smiles for you.. someone proud is lookin' down you're not to blame, please let it go tho' the need you feel is real.

This tugs at the heart strings Richard. It’s as beautifully written as it is poignant. Cheers - Gary

You've aimed the dagger well, Richard. This one hurts to read, although not as much as reality, of course.

Unrequited love is not only the romantic kind-it can be caused by losing contact with family members, or friends we long to see, hear, be with in person. But we are left holding the lost love we might be powerless to gift those ones. I feel for your loss, time doesn't always heal everything. May you find peace of heart, and if reconciliation is possible, may it happen. ((Warm Hugs)) Aqua.
