The Necklace

I dreamed I found this necklace That gave me super powers When I put it on I was a hero for hours I was cat woman wonder woman and bat girl all in one But when I took the necklace off All my powers were gone So I put the necklace on and Set out to save the world But then the necklace got lost And I was just a little girl

I like this, it's like me when I need a 9 in poker- If I forget to cross my fingers or legs, it never comes, but deep inside I know the outcome. It's what I have at that moment that matters most

The necklace was just a Placebo all along; because as a poet you can be all three. This was a great write.
