The Navalny Sacrifice
He could so easily have walked away
Instead he took the hard choice to stay
After all he endured through thick and thin
He refused to bow to the vile Putin
His presence signed his own death warrant
Putin sticking to his cruel cant
Out of his premature death comes hope
And provides for Putin enough rope
To send his rule crashing round his ears
The Phoenix of freedom to curb all fears
In the West we need to stand up tall
To stop us too going to the wall
