The Nature of Me

I'm like the grass
Sometimes I need to be cut down so that I can regrow but not so fast

I'm like the sky in clear view
Sometimes I'm gray and sometimes I'm blue

My words can feel like the wind
I can welcome you but at times I can blow you away like a tornado with 100 mph
winds

My tears resemble the rain drops
Drop after drop, I can flood the world, bottom to top

I can be like the sun
Brighten up your day to add a little fun

Then my eyes can glow like the moon in the midnight sky
I can be your worst nightmare and have you up all night wondering why

I can be cool
Like the cool water on a hot, summer day in the swimming pool

But make me mad
And I can be as hot as the humid on a 108 degree summer desert day or just as
bad

I can be South Carolina's 2007-2008's winter weather
Hot, cold, windy, cool, mild, rainy, and sunny altogether

All of this is just the nature of me that wrapped in
The skin that I'm in
