The Narrow Road

Drifting along the road
A path virtually unknown
Finding life and love
Seeing past agony fade
Calling out for me to travel onward
Begging me to change
Life and love destroyed
Misting lonely rain
Narrow is the road
Long is the loneliness and pain
Searching for the answers
Along this guided way
Never ending, just beginning
A lonely narrow road

A path that we all tread. SOmetimes so difficult to make out moments of sunlight along the way. Very beautifully written. My best to you, Charlie

Reminds me of Tolkien's road. You never know where you will wind up once you step onto that road. Nice work!

So many of us take those same roads but seldom see others on it for we are more concerned with ourselves. The road does widen, I assure you of that and loneliness becomes but a state of mind. You expressed yourself clearly and with fantastic flow. Michael
