The Narcissist

There's this girl, a narcissist who
wants everyone in her life to
put their lives on hold
and do as they're told
by HER! She just hasn't a clue.

Wish to say to her - You are no star
in this universe. Folks can't get far
enough away from
you! Dumber than dumb,
girl, just who do you think that you are?

*True story, and this person is ruining lives but for complicated reasons,
none of us (at the moment) are allowed to do anything about it.

Hmmm, I seem to remember a bit about this person. Glad I wasn't around to get caught in the storm. :) Hopefully she has purged whatever was up there. :)

They are their own worst enemy because they just can't see how they drive loved ones away. I can relate and know who you speak of Andrea. Keep thinking positive! An insightful limerick. : )

I didn't need the footnote for my mind to map out and land on the who that inspired this. Limerick therapy? I hope it eased the steam somewhat. Love ... CayCay

Wow! She must seem like a real piece of work, but surely we must find ways to deal with such people. Thanks a lot for sharing and all the best in the contest

This was really cool Andrea and sad at the same time. I know people like this as well. Most times I just feel sorry for them.

Andrea, sounds to me like your group needs to ban together and stand up to this woman (or man) and let her (or him) know how you feel. There is always security in numbers. JMHO John

It's a matter of guardianship, John. The elderly guardian of this socially handicapped person does not put his foot down and will not allow any family members to oppose him. This person is literally killing him (with tantrums, etc) and then someone else will be in charge. RIght now my husband and I live too far away to help the guardian.
