The Mystic's Dire Prediction

The Mystic’s Dire Prediction

By Elton Camp

Going to a fortuneteller is a mistake
Apart from it all being just a fake

A prediction that is especially chilling
Might very easily become self-fulfilling

If the seer says you’ll die right away
Are your sure what you’d do or say?

One who takes seriously such a quack
Might be frightened into a heart attack

My advice: from such a liar stay away
Then no worry about what she might say

So if you save your money and steer clear
No fortuneteller will you ever need to fear
