The Mystery of the Disappearing Loans
It was morning and his face was red with fury
But really he just wished he was alone
The sold sign on his house didn't bring no money
Took a loan to pay a loan and lost that home
Fighting back the boundaries of the projects
He lost the last "white-collar" that he had
The rent is now exactly what he's making
And grocery stores don't let you run a tab
The bankers say it's weird that he's not bothered
When negatives have stepped inside the math
But since he can't afford to take a shower
Threats of tarnished credit make him laugh
