The Mystery of Aging

The senior years caress my being with kindness, Sometimes old and then young, I walk slower now and don't run, Many beautiful memories fade and then reappear, Time marches on and then I request that it slows down, Friends from long ago, always with my memory, Dare to dream of better days and then they bless you, Champion talents enhanced compared to before, The sound of the keys on the piano where before there was only a music book, Poetry recitation where now there are poetry books written, Relatives whom we love dearly and now reunions with relatives and friends, Blessings of the Lord our God and friend.
