The Music In My Bones

Capricious as
I often be
That song can calm
The beast in me
When tides are high
And spirit's low
There's one thing that
I always know
I have so many
Friends within
A separate world
Inside my skin
When life gets rough
And love's a loss
I never have
That path to cross
I simply sing
My favorite tune
So loud and free
Howl at the moon
And when it ends
How good I feel !
Now I can face
Whatever's real

I love this write. Sometimes a song really is all it takes to clear your mind.. can really be empowering. And "a separate world/ inside my skin" ...gave me chills, awesome lines. Enjoyed. :)
