The Muse Returns
After having been gone
for a long stretch of years
The Muse finally came home
Yes- you can see
that we will
gain knowledge
and strength
Delight in her return
The light shines brighter now
and the urge to create
deepens in all of us
She is a shining sun - we know now
we will glow
through the long winter nights
The Muse has found a lover
moonlight accentuates
the deep, dark shadows
which form patterns
on the cool, cool earth
