The Muse
Your beauty gleams with amber glow against the sunshine;
But in my heart, the light of your love was meant to shine.
You're a diamond that only from nowhere can be bought;
Your precious glow, from anywhere, cannot be sought.
Your real value is deeply imbedded in my heart;
I carried it wherever I'd go from the start.
No matter what happens, I'll always keep you in my soul;
For, through the end, you are the fuel of my goal.
Without your love, these mighty wings cannot soar high;
You are the wind, with mystic blow, that makes me fly.
You are the wave that drives my ship to destination;
Your mere smile heaves high the hope of my volition.
