The Muse
The Muse
Friends,
that will not let go.
They hold on tight,
and let you know.
That you have value.
They stop by when others don't.
They even get in the way,
but that is okay.
The welcome mat is at the door,
and there is laughter at the core.
Every happy thought,
and those that are not so,
could never defeat such a foe.
I pray your days are full of wonder,
and nothing like the roar of thunder.
I wish that I could convey,
the happy thoughts of the day.
You, and you... and you...
Are part of me.
You put the pen into my hand,
as I write into the sand.
A. Foster, aka Ann Foster
God bless your day! Special thank you to all those at the soup!
