The Mouse who Said More than Squeak

A mouse addressed a cat who thought him meek.
"Listen up", he said, "as forcefully, I speak".
Today, a statue of that mouse I sculpt,
as he looked before he once was gulped.
Hail the mouse who said much more than "Squeak".

Yes, uniquely David. Yesterday, we had an alligator in our front yard under the weeping willow tree for hours, 3 blind baby armadillos grazing in the side yard (I think they live under our house) and last night, my son screamed for Tim, "there's crabs in my bedroom". I hoped he meant the neighbors, but they were small, brown ones (not the neighbors, the crabs - not sand crabs, not blue crabs but three brownish half dollar sized things. Maybe all the rain? Anyway, I thought of you yesterday.

Alligator, 'neith the weeping willow, what makes you want to cry? May I offer you a pillow? You are so sad. Please, tell me why! "Twas then I found they were croc tears. when he ate up my head, after removing my ears, which heard, "I'm sad cuz you're dead".

Wow, those are exotic animals. I feel envious. I've never seen armadillos or alligators, and the only crabs are on the rocks by the sea. Well, alligators sound dangerous, though, so maybe I don't want them around. Why was he beneath the weeping willow. Was he sad? Maybe, because you have more water, which is the elixer of life.
