And snatch , the little mousy is gone forever into the belly of big pussy cat machine. Cat stretches after being fed such a yummy dinner.

probably won't see anything ever again either. A picture well painted of impending doom. You know these little Haiku are a bit addicting. The value is not in how many words we say but in the value of the words we do say. May a basket of happy get left on your doorstep and move in. Huggs TLee

A mouse has no chance against a cat. Not only is the cat bigger and stronger, it is also very cunning. Good haiku about two links in the food chain.

Thanks Francine for my 4th place in your Cobweb and Dust Contest, I am so happy you liked my poem. I think your haiku is great, so visual, poor little mouse, I have a cat but I am happy she seems to be afraid of everything that moves like mice and bugs.
