The Mother Tree
The Mother Tree
Connie Marcum Wong a lady who graced us like warm trade winds in “A Quiet Place.” A lady who loved “The Hint of Autumn” even in a tropical paradise. A lady who reveled in “Lavender Skies” and “Cosmic Creations” and through “Star Ships” saw the “Enchanted Earth” always looking up to see the fullness of the shining “Night Light” through her tears.
Connie, whose name means steadfast, was a steadfast presence, a lady of faith even in unimaginable grief, who has stepped into the eternal “Sunrays Warmth” enfolded in “Your Tender Loving Embrace.” Her constant supportive heart vanquished darkness – this lady who inspired the Aloha spirit, deeply loved her husband, her family, poetry, Chopin, the stars, and her friends and we were “Starstruck” at her beauty and grace. She was “The Mother Tree” now rejoicing with the “Morning Star” in “Heaven’s Realms” of glory.
Her “Starlight” will never fade – a north star on horseback! Godspeed dear friend on your “Heavenly Ride.”
Mahalo Lord for the gift of Connie.
