The Mother of All Bombs

The Mother of all Bombs (MOAB)
By Stanley Russell Harris
The new mad author
& A Poetry Soup honourably mentioned poet

The Mother of all Bombs.
Aptly named, I’m sure.
A female taking terrorist lives!
Something one cannot ignore.
No mother likes to see her son die.
Or daughter as well, I cannot lie.
Sadly, throughout the world they do.
And that’s not right, I’m telling you.
Like worms IS slither through the soil.
Or holes in cheese, they might toil.
Alas that Mother of all Bombs.
Will send those terrorists where they belong.
Some mother’s son has died this day.
Remember this day. I must say.
As Good Friday it surely sucks you know.
Will more MOAB’s downward flow?
Starting war, is so easy.
Stopping more complicated you see.
So, when all lives blood ceases to flow.
The Mother of Peace, we all will know.

A Peaceful Easter to you all.
